Shri Chandan Kumar Mondol, retired from NTPC Limited as Director Commercial in January 2023. He has 40 years of comprehensive knowledge and expertise in the entire value chain of power sector in the area of Project Execution, Operation & Maintenance, Mining, Contracts, Business Development, Renewables, Commercial, Arbitration, International Business, Strategic Planning & Enterprise Risk Management, Infrastructure and Electricity Regulations & Tariff Management, Power Purchase Agreement, Negotiation with Customers, Financial Modelling, Customer Relationship Management etc. In addition to his prime responsibility as Director (Commercial) on board of NTPC, he was also Chairman of many companies namely NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd., NTPC Green Energy Ltd, NTPC-BHEL Power projects Ltd, NTPC Mining Ltd, RGPPL, NHPT Ltd and NVVN Ltd and was also in the Board of EESL and Bangladesh India Friendship Power Co Ltd. He has joined as Chairman, Meghalaya State Electricity Regulatory Commission with effect from 08.07.2024.
